Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026

CoreVive (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates this website and online store. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have over it. It applies whenever you visit our site, create an account, place an order, or contact our team.

This policy is written to meet the disclosure expectations of the EU GDPR, the UK GDPR, and applicable US state privacy laws. Because we sell internationally, we apply a single baseline standard to all visitors.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, information collected automatically as you browse, and information provided by trusted third parties who help us run the store. We only collect what we need to fulfil your order, support you afterwards, and improve the experience for everyone.

CategoryWhat this includes
Identity dataName, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number
Order dataItems purchased, order value, currency, order date, order status, order notes
Payment dataTransaction IDs and payment status. Full card and bank details are handled by our payment processors and never stored on our servers.
Account dataUsername, login history, and the preferences saved in your customer dashboard
Technical dataIP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring URL
Usage dataPages viewed, time on page, products viewed, search terms, outbound link clicks
Marketing dataEmail subscription status, newsletter engagement, and any survey responses
Support dataThe content of messages you send us, including attachments

Most information is provided directly by you — for example when you place an order, register an account, or subscribe to our newsletter. Some technical and usage data is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies. Payment confirmations come from our payment providers.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Process and deliver your orders, including taking payment, arranging shipping, and issuing invoices and receipts
  • Send transactional messages such as order confirmations, shipping updates, and renewal notices
  • Provide customer support and resolve disputes, returns, and warranty claims
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access to accounts
  • Send marketing emails about new products, guides, and offers — only where you have opted in, and always with a one-click unsubscribe
  • Analyse how the store is used so we can improve product pages, navigation, and site performance
  • Comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.

3. Who we share data with

We share personal data only with service providers who need it to perform a specific function for us, and only under written agreements that restrict how they may use it. These categories include:

  • Payment processors — to authorise and settle your payment
  • Shipping carriers and fulfilment partners — to deliver your order and provide tracking
  • Email and messaging providers — to deliver order notifications and newsletters
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers — to serve the website securely
  • Analytics providers — to help us understand aggregate, largely de-identified usage patterns
  • Professional advisers — accountants, auditors, and legal counsel where required
  • Authorities — where we are legally obliged to disclose, or where disclosure is necessary to protect our rights

Where our payment provider processes your order, their own privacy policy also applies to the payment data they handle. We encourage you to review it.

4. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for four purposes:

TypePurpose
Strictly necessaryKeep items in your cart, maintain your session, and secure checkout. These cannot be switched off.
FunctionalRemember your language, currency, and display preferences.
AnalyticsMeasure aggregate traffic and understand which pages and products perform well.
MarketingMeasure the performance of advertising and, where permitted, show you relevant messages on other platforms.

You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent the cart and checkout from working. Where required by law, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only as long as we need it:

DataRetention period
Order and transaction records7 years from the end of the financial year, to meet tax and accounting requirements
Customer account dataFor as long as your account remains active, then 24 months of inactivity before deletion
Marketing subscriptionsUntil you unsubscribe, plus a short suppression record so we do not contact you again by mistake
Support correspondence36 months from the last message in the thread
Server logsUp to 12 months

6. International transfers

Because we operate internationally, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own, including the United States, where some of our service providers are based. Where we transfer personal data out of the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, and we require our partners to apply equivalent protections.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Deletion — ask us to erase your data where we no longer have a lawful reason to keep it
  • Restriction — ask us to pause processing while a concern is investigated
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Objection — object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time
  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it without affecting past lawful processing
  • Non-discrimination — we will not degrade your experience for exercising your rights

To exercise any of these rights, email support@corevive.com. We respond within 30 days and may ask you to verify your identity first. If you are in the EU or UK and are unhappy with our response, you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

8. How we protect your data

We work hard to keep your data safe. Measures include encrypted HTTPS connections across the entire site, hashed password storage, restricted internal access on a need-to-know basis, PCI-compliant payment processing so that card details never touch our servers, and regular software updates. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we maintain safeguards proportionate to the sensitivity of the data we hold.

9. Children’s privacy

Our store is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The “Last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced on this page, and where appropriate we will notify you by email.

11. Contact us
