Everything we are asked most often, in one place. If your question is not here, email us — we will answer it and then add it to this page.
What exactly is pelvic floor training?
Your pelvic floor is a hammock of muscle that stretches from your pubic bone at the front to your tailbone at the back. It supports your bladder and bowel, contributes to core stability, and plays a role in sexual function. Pelvic floor training — often called kegel training — means deliberately squeezing and releasing those muscles to build their strength and endurance.
How do I know I am squeezing the right muscle?
The classic test is to imagine you are stopping yourself mid-urination, or stopping yourself passing wind. The muscle you feel tighten is your pelvic floor. Do not practise by actually stopping urine flow, as this can cause bladder problems. A trainer with biofeedback or a rep counter is genuinely useful here, because it tells you whether the squeeze registered rather than leaving you to guess.
How long until I notice a difference?
Most people notice improved control and awareness within two to four weeks of daily practice. Measurable strength gains typically appear between six and twelve weeks. Consistency matters far more than session length: ten minutes every day beats an hour once a week. If you have trained consistently for four weeks and feel no difference at all, our satisfaction guarantee covers you.
Is it safe to train during pregnancy or after childbirth?
Gentle pelvic floor training is often recommended during pregnancy and after birth, but the right approach depends on your individual situation, how far along you are, and how you gave birth. Please speak to your midwife, physiotherapist, or doctor before starting, and follow their guidance on resistance and intensity.
Can men use these products?
Yes. Men have a pelvic floor too, and training it helps with bladder control, erectile function, and recovery after prostate surgery. Our trainers are unisex in design; the buying guide explains which models suit which goals.
Which trainer should I choose?
If you want feedback on whether each squeeze registered, choose a trainer with a digital counter. If you want to add resistance progressively, choose an adjustable model. If you prefer training the pelvic floor alongside your thighs and core, choose a thigh trainer. The comparison table on our shop page sets the four models side by side.
Are these products medical devices?
No. CoreVive products are fitness and wellness equipment. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. If you are managing a medical condition such as incontinence, prolapse, or recovering from surgery, speak to a healthcare professional — ideally a pelvic health physiotherapist — who can assess you and advise on whether our products are appropriate.
How do I clean and store my trainer?
Wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth and a mild soap, then dry it thoroughly. Do not submerge electronic models in water, do not use alcohol-based cleaners on silicone surfaces, and do not leave the product in direct sunlight. Store it in the pouch provided, away from sharp objects.
Do I need to change the batteries or charge it?
It depends on the model. Models with a digital display use a replaceable coin or button cell battery, and the product page for each trainer lists the exact type. Check the specifications table on the product page before ordering if this matters to you.
How long does shipping take, and is it free?
Shipping is free worldwide on orders over $50. Typical delivery is 3–6 business days within the United States and 5–14 business days internationally, measured from dispatch. Full details are on our Shipping Policy page.
What if it does not work for me?
You have 30 days from delivery to return an unused product for a full refund. Separately, if you have used the product consistently for at least four weeks and genuinely feel no difference, our satisfaction guarantee refunds you within 30 days even though the product has been used.
